A year ago, this site in Adelaide's north was empty land. Soon, it will be home to a thriving new community.
The development forms part of the Affordable Housing Initiative and will help 62 South Australian families on moderate incomes take their first step into home ownership at an affordable price.
The site includes a mix of modern two and three‑bedroom homes, conveniently located near schools, gyms, childcare centres, parks and a shopping centre. The development also includes a new nature reserve, currently under construction.
All properties have now sold and are at various stages of construction, with the first homes due for completion soon. Fairmont Homes is delivering the build.
The Affordable Housing Initiative, alongside the Rent‑to‑Buy Initiative, supports South Australians to achieve their home ownership goals. Together, these programs also help ease housing pressures across the state by freeing up homes in the private rental market for those who need them.
