Have Your Say on our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2026 - 2030

" "

The SA Housing Trust is developing its Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) 2026 – 2030.

This plan outlines practical actions to remove barriers in housing and services, improve accessible communication, strengthen our understanding of people’s needs and experiences, and create inclusive workplaces for both staff and customers.

By sharing your experiences and ideas, you can help us understand what’s working well, where improvements are needed and how we can create workplaces, housing and services that are more accessible and inclusive for people with disability.

The consultation closes on Sunday 25 January 2026. Your feedback will guide the actions we take over the next five years.

Greyhound Christmas Appeal: a paw-some effort

Left - Brown Greyhound wearing reindeer ears and red bow-tie and Right - Black Greyhound wearing Christmas hat and red bow-tie

Each year, hundreds of greyhounds leave the racing industry and begin new lives as pets and family members. For many, the change can be overwhelming.

Something as simple as a cuddly or squeaky toy of their own - one they can take from foster care to their new home - can make a big difference in helping them settle.

That’s why our animal‑loving staff once again rallied behind last year’s Greyhound Christmas Appeal Drive, setting a new record.

They collected 140 toys, blankets and enrichment items, along with more than 10kg of treats and dry food, to support greyhounds as they adjust to their new lives.
