UDIA Award winners from SA Housing Trust’s Property Services team

As one of South Australia’s most respected and highly regarded awards programs, the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) (SA) Awards for Excellence recognise innovation, leadership, and community impact.

Receiving an award from the UDIA (SA) is valued recognition of members’ work and projects, and an honour to the places that are created and shape our State.

We are proud to announce that two of our projects were recognised as winners at this year’s awards:

• Innovation in Development: Modern Methods of Construction – U-Panel (Mile End)
  This milestone project delivered four brand-new public housing homes in just 115 days using the cutting-edge U-Panel walling system — a faster, safer, and more durable approach that’s reshaping the future of public housing in South Australia.

• Affordable Housing: Everleigh, Munno Para (with Fairmont Homes)
  Our Everleigh project delivered 51 architecturally designed, energy-efficient homes with 7-star energy ratings, solar panels, and full turnkey inclusions — setting a new benchmark for affordable housing and revitalising the local community.

In addition to these wins, we’re proud that a further two projects were named finalists:

• Blair Athol – Urban Renewal
• Harbrow Grove (Seacombe Gardens) – Affordable Housing

Each of these projects reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and building communities where all South Australians can thrive.
